Room was not ready when we arrived. The hotel gave us a complimentary drink at the bar, which was nice, but when we did reach the room the standard of cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Dusting is obviously not done and the bathroom definitely needs refreshing and was a bit grotty. Was expecting the hotel to provide robes and slippers, especially as we went to check out the pool and spa, but sadly none to be found. The pool area was stark and outdated and rather grim so we didn’t stay long. Other than that, the breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly and the location is great.

Check in should have been 2.00 pm. But didn’t occur until after 4.00 pm. Many disgruntled travellers all experiencing same delays. Hotel tired and due for refurbishment. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Would have been better if: * the pool had a time when there were no children (9-11pm) * the anti-slip mats by the door leading out from the pool were changed more often thereby preventing slips (even with "beware" signs) * towels provided at the pool area * night lights in the bathrooms so not blinded at night * windows in the bedroom were able to open (even 2-3 inches) Appreciated the birthday cake ❤️

We stayed 2 nights our room was not serviced we ran out of clean towels, toilet rolls, clean cups, tea bags. The mens toilet in reception had no toilet paper and I was forced to look for another. Clearly staff were overwhelmed. No follow up on checkout . Breakfast was good

After waiting in a queue for a long time we finally got to the desk only to be told our room wasn't ready. It was 5pm, our check-in had been before 3 pm. There was no explanation, no idea of when it would be ready, no offer of a complementary coffee or parking fee waiver, nothing. Just go away for half an hour and try again. We were there to go to a function that was an hour away. We still needed to eat dinner and dress. I understand that challenges do occur, but to give no explanation, no time of resolution, no where to go or sit or anything else to do, and no compensation in any way was pretty disappointing.
